Ford announced this week, according to various news outlets including Car and Driver, that its fleet of future vehicles will be electrified, most particularly its iconic, best-selling F-150, of which we have tested approximately 15 of. 2019 ford f-150

The electric F-150’s biggest rival as of this writing is Rivian’s R1T – which also has not yet reached production. rivian-r1t

The R1T showed its face at the LA Auto Show late last year, with honchos maintaining the vehicle will have a range of about 400 miles, a tow rating of 11,000 pounds and a payload rating of 1,764 pounds.
